During the month of Ramadan, a time that reminds us of solidarity, togetherness, and care for others, the director of Foundation Second, Belma Mujezinović, visited the organization BarakahCharity in Sarajevo.
On that occasion, a meeting was held with Director Adela Čomić, during which experiences were exchanged, the activities of both organizations were presented, and important discussions about future cooperation were initiated.
Shared values as the foundation of cooperation
Foundation Second and Barakah Charity operate based on similar principles – providing support to those who need it most, often away from the public eye. This shared commitment to people, dignity, and long-term solutions was a strong connection during this meeting.
They discussed opportunities for joint action in supporting families in social need, as well as projects focused on children without parental care, children from at-risk families, and their integration into the community.
A step toward concrete cooperation
This meeting represents a significant first step toward establishing a partnership that could, in the coming period, result in concrete joint activities and projects.
At a time when needs are increasing and resources are often limited, connecting organizations that share the same values becomes key to building a stronger and more sustainable support system.
Foundation Second remains committed to building partnerships that create real change – because only together can we do more for those who need help the most.
