Foundation Second continues its mission of providing assistance to the most vulnerable members of society, this time directing support to a victim of domestic violence who currently lives in a social housing unit with her child and mother. Tragically, she lost her father a few months ago.
The apartment, which serves as a temporary home for this family, bears the scars of the past—furniture over 30 years old and broken appliances make daily life even more challenging.
Aware of the challenges this family faces, Foundation Second, thanks to a group of donors, has so far provided essential items for their daily life. They have purchased a new refrigerator and stove, a mattress for more comfortable sleep, as well as bedding, pillows, and duvets to create living conditions worthy of any home.
In the coming days, they plan to deliver a bed and a dresser for the child’s belongings, which will at least partially ease the family’s daily struggles. However, the needs are far greater. To make the apartment fully functional and create a warm home, funds are required for a kitchen, a corner sofa, and a wardrobe.
The director of Foundation Second, Belma Mujezinović, emphasized the importance of collective action in such situations:
"This is not just a story about furnishing an apartment, but about restoring hope and dignity to a family. Every donation, no matter how small, has a significant impact on their lives. Let us give them the chance to feel security and stability once again."
