After two years, friends of the "Second" Foundation from France visited Bosnia and Herzegovina again. Just like the last time, they decided to share the enjoyment of the beauties of our homeland with the residents of the Cantonal Public Institution "Home for Children without Parental Care Sarajevo." On the initiative of the Foundation, they took them to Mount Igman and the newly opened children's playground at the Monti Hotel.

Two buses arrived in front of the Home. They picked up all the children from two departments and then stopped to pick up five children with developmental difficulties who live in the Small Family Home in Kovačići, part of this cantonal public institution.

The children were happy to go on an excursion organized by the Foundation again, given that they have a lot of unused free time during the summer vacation.

"We are grateful to our friends from France who always remember the children without parental care and selflessly share beautiful moments of rest with them," said Belma Mujezinović, the director of the "Second" Foundation during the drive to the mountain.

Upon arrival at Igman, they first walked with the French along the arranged path on Veliko polje, staying in the shade of the tall conifers. The French held the children by the hands, enjoying every moment together. After the walk, they had lunch at the Monti Hotel, whose management treated the children to pizzas and then gave them cards for free use of the playground.

The playground, equipped with various adventure equipment and props, caused excitement among the children. They climbed, slid, swung, and rode the zip-line countless times. The French played with them, carried them, swung them, and before returning, handed out gifts they had bought.

"This is the best park I've ever been to," said one girl after sliding down the spiral slide countless times.

Besides the fun, the visit also had a humanitarian character. A group of friends from France handed over a significant donation to the "Second" Foundation, which will enable the organization of another excursion during the vacation for the residents of the Home for Children without Parental Care Sarajevo.

This day on Igman will remain etched in the hearts of the children as one of the most beautiful moments spent outside the institution's walls, filled with laughter, joy, and new friendships.
