The Second Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing support to children without parental care, has selected two Romani boys for scholarships in the 2024/2025 school year. These boys, who are brothers, currently attend elementary school and live in a small family home in Blagovac, within the framework of the Canton Public Institution "Home for Children without Parental Care" in Sarajevo.
This initiative by the Second Foundation aims to provide support to children without parental care, enabling them to continue their education and fulfill their potential despite the challenges they face.
"We are extremely pleased to be able to support these talented boys. Their dedication to learning and desire for success deserve our support. We invite all people of goodwill to join us and support our work. Become a part of the Second Foundation's Donor Club or donate to our Scholarship Fund so that we can continue to provide support to children who need it the most," said Belma Mujezinović, director of the Second Foundation.
The scholarship that these boys will receive amounts to 25 EUR per month. This funding will enable them to cover expenses for extracurricular activities and focus on their education and advancement.
"We invite everyone who is able to join our mission and support children without parental care on their educational journey. Every donation, no matter its size, provides valuable support in creating a better future for these young people," Mujezinović concluded.
