Works on improving the energy efficiency of the house in the village of Ledići in Bjelašnica, which the Public Institution "Home for Children without Parental Care" Sarajevo received for use from the proBITRa Foundation, are nearing completion. This project was conceived to provide children with a space in nature to spend their summer and winter holidays, as well as a place to socialize in the fresh air.

"I was pleased to notice that the house is already warmer compared to the period before the insulation was installed. Muralla company did an excellent job," said Belma Mujezinović, director of the "Second" Foundation.

Over the past year and a half, the "Second" Foundation has managed to secure material donations from Knauf, Knauf Insulation, Senigor, and LUK companies. Additionally, the company Bijela tehnika Hadžići donated new kitchen appliances, and the British Embassy provided financial support for the purchase of fancoiler units and radiators, which are currently being installed on the premises. Thermoflux donated a heat pump.

The next phase of the project involves furnishing the house with furniture, and architect Merima Delić and Architectural Studio Dimenzija are working on it. Their engagement was agreed upon at a recent meeting held at the Home for Children without Parental Care Sarajevo.

The meeting was attended by Belma Mujezinović, director of the "Second" Foundation, and acting director of the Public Institution "Home for Children without Parental Care" Sarajevo, Amar Ećo, who expressed gratitude to the donors for their ongoing support.

"We would like to thank the 'Second' Foundation, as well as numerous donors who, in cooperation with the mentioned Foundation, have made a significant contribution to the refurbishment and reconstruction of this important facility for us. It will serve the purpose of implementing program activities aimed at providing support to children and young people without parental care, children and young people with developmental difficulties, as well as cooperation with institutions, civil society organizations dealing with vulnerable populations, governmental and nongovernmental organizations in Bosnia and Herzegovina and beyond its borders, with the aim of promoting social work in the light of the transformation process of social welfare institutions," was announced on the Instagram page of the Home for Children without Parental Care Sarajevo.
