Thanks to the donations collected, the "Second" Foundation organized a joint iftar this Ramadan for eight children and their caregiver from the Little Family Home in Blagovac near Sarajevo at the Dolcetto Restaurant in Vogošća. The Little Family Home operates within the framework of the Cantonal Public Institution "Home for Children without Parental Care Sarajevo".

Most of the children in this home are of Roma ethnicity, so it was an occasion to organize the iftar on April 8th, on the World Roma Day.

The director of the "Second" Foundation, Belma Mujezinović, attended the iftar. One of the youngest boys asked her to take him to the taraweeh prayers, remembering last year's Ramadan when they went to Gazi Husrev Bey's Mosque together. He even recently asked the oldest sister where the director was and if she would come to take them.

This special iftar was an opportunity to fulfill the wishes of these wonderful children. The director of the "Second" Foundation could not refuse the wish of a 10-year-old boy who fasted almost the entire Ramadan, seizing every opportunity to join the taraweeh prayers in the nearby mosque.

Before the iftar, the children prayed the Maghrib prayer together with the director at the Central Mosque in Vogošća, and then they went to Baščaršija to perform the last taraweeh prayer of this Ramadan.

After the prayer, the director of the Foundation took the children for ice cream, and then she returned them all home, to the Little Family Home in Blagovac. The hugs she received from these wonderful children were priceless.

The director of the "Second" Foundation emphasizes that every thanks and gratitude belong to the Almighty Allah for the opportunity to organize this special iftar for the children from the Little Family Home and to share special moments with them this Ramadan.
