This Ramadan, on the initiative of the "Second" Foundation, Zmaj Stanica Restaurant organized iftars for the residents of the Home for Children without Parental Care, as well as for the children from the "Pazarić" Institution. These iftars, each with its unique story, highlighted the power of unity and care for those in need of support.

"We are delighted that the owners of this restaurant have recognized the importance of inclusion for children with developmental difficulties and have decided to host residents of the Pazarić Institution as well. This was the first iftar we organized for them in accordance with the signed cooperation agreement," explained Belma Mujezinović, director of the "Second" Foundation.

Fourteen children from the "Pazarić" Institution, some of whom spent their childhood in the Sarajevo Orphanage, had the opportunity to enjoy barbecue specialties. Additionally, the owners prepared special gift packages for them to remind them of the significance of such gatherings.

"I particularly enjoyed spending time with the children I know from the Home Sarajevo, who have been placed in the 'Pazarić' Institution since last year. We reminisced about our shared gatherings and trips, especially Mostar, where the children had memorable moments. Such conversations symbolize the lasting memories built through such activities," explained Mujezinović.

The second iftar was organized for the youngest group from the Home for Children without Parental Care Sarajevo, who took advantage of the good weather to walk from Bjelave to the restaurant. Due to the recent measles outbreak, the children had mostly been confined indoors.

The 14 children from the Home Sarajevo also received gift packages, which delighted the youngest members of the group.

These iftars bear witness to the immense love and support that the community provides to its most vulnerable members. Thanks to the initiative and efforts of individuals like Azra Behlulović from the Zmaj Stanica Restaurant, these children have the opportunity to feel the warmth of unity and care that transcends the boundaries of institutional care. Their stories serve as a reminder of the importance of each individual in creating a better and more compassionate society.
