Inspired by acts of kindness and care for those in need, Monday and Thursday were days filled with smiles and gratitude from the residents of the Sarajevo Home for Children Without Parental Care who attended the first iftars organized by the "Second" Foundation.
One group of children comes from a small family home in Marijin Dvor, while the other is housed in the reception department of the Sarajevo Home for Children Without Parental Care. The first group is smaller, while the second is twice as large and louder, reflecting their diversity and dynamism.
In a selfless act of hospitality, the owners of the City Walk restaurant decided to provide these young souls with an unforgettable experience and host them. They made sure that they lacked nothing, and the children enjoyed the specialties of the City Walk restaurant's cuisine, simultaneously discovering new gastronomic experiences and enjoying the atmosphere of a new place.
Among the stars of the evening, one boy stood out, whose life journey was enriched by a scholarship that gave him the opportunity to further develop and fulfill his dreams. Living with three brothers in a small family home, this boy is not only an example of joy and life but also a true inspiration. Alongside his school obligations, he excels in the world of sports, achieving success both on and off the field. With a heart filled with kindness, besides learning Arabic letters and playing football, he inspires everyone around him by his example.
