Sarajevo recently hosted an unforgettable event that will forever be etched in the hearts of those who participated. Fifty residents of the Sarajevo Home for Children without Parental Care had the privilege of visiting the inaugural Festival of Light, which took place in their own city, where they enjoyed the sparkling spectacle of artistic installations.

The Festival of Light, now renowned for its magic celebrating creativity and unity, attracted not only the local community but also a wider audience. The first edition was particularly special as it allowed children from the Sarajevo Home to experience this unforgettable event.

For the residents of the Sarajevo Home for Children without Parental Care, the visit to the Festival of Light presented an opportunity to break away from their daily routines and immerse themselves in the world of art and creativity. Throughout January and February, they visited the festival in groups, enjoying the light installations illuminating the Botanical Garden of the Sarajevo Museum of Literature.

At the initiative of the "Second" Foundation, tickets for the festival were provided to them thanks to the friends of the Festival of Light, further enhancing their experience. The visit to the Festival of Light was not just an outing; it was also an opportunity for the residents to experience the beauty of art and to be inspired for their own creative expressions.
