A group of children from the Home for children without parental care Sarajevo (Bjelave Orphanage) spent an unforgettable day this past weekend at the Bingo Zoo in Tuzla, thanks to the support and joint organization of the Foundation Second and the Bingo company. This visit offered the children an opportunity to get up close with numerous animal species and enjoy the natural surroundings, far from their everyday worries.

Foundation Second organized transportation for the children and their caregivers, making it possible for them to travel safely to Tuzla and spend a day filled with laughter, new experiences, and companionship. At the entrance to the zoo, the children were warmly welcomed by the staff, while the Bingo management generously provided free admission for all the youngsters and their caregivers.

The children excitedly toured enclosures featuring more than 60 animal species — with lions, tigers, bears, antelopes, ostriches, raccoons, and numerous bird species among the highlights. The lions and bears caused the most excitement, while the youngest visitors paid special attention to the colorful parrots, cheerfully commenting on their sounds.

After exploring the zoo, the children enjoyed the playgrounds and entertainment areas this popular destination offers, concluding the day with a shared meal and sweet treats.

The Home for children without parental care Sarajevo extends its heartfelt gratitude to Foundation Second and the Bingo Zoo management for their hospitality, free admission, and the care they showed to our little ones. Thanks to their joint support and generosity, the children from the Bjelave Orphanage spent an unforgettable day surrounded by nature, animals, laughter, and genuine childhood joy.
