We are entering the most blessed days of the year — the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, culminating in the celebration of Eid al-Adha. Let’s make the most of these mubarak days by performing good deeds and ensuring the joy of Eid reaches those who need it the most.

Foundation Second is launching three important humanitarian initiatives this year, and we need your support:

🕌 1. Eid packages for families at risk of separation

For ten families struggling to keep their children at home and out of institutional care, we are preparing Eid packages with essential food items, sweets, and hygiene products.

📦 Needed: 1,000 EUR for 10 packages

🏡 2. Celebrating Eid with children in alternative care in Ledići

For children without parental care from Orphanage Sarajevo, we’re organizing a special Eid gathering with lunch, gifts, and activities in a mountain house in the village of Ledići on the slopes of Bjelašnica.

🎉 Needed: 1,500 EUR 

🍼 3. Finalizing the furnishing of the Nursery department at Orphanage Sarajevo

An initiative we began during Ramadan is entering its final phase. Thanks to your support and especially Stichting Amanet from the Netherlands, we’ve raised 5,888 EUR, and an additional 1,294 EUR is needed to complete the furnishing and equipment for the youngest children at the home.
