After sharing the news last week about the funds raised for purchasing new cribs, mattresses, and bedding for the babies at the Cantonal public institution Home for children without parental care Sarajevo, we are happy to announce that the production of the cribs is now in its final phase!

The production workshop is working diligently on the finishing touches, and the delivery to the Home is planned for the beginning of next week. Each crib is being crafted with special care to ensure that these 25 little ones have a safe and comfortable space for a peaceful sleep.

Thanks to the funds raised so far, we have secured the purchase of cribs and cabinets, but in order to fully equip the baby ward, we still need to collect 1,294 EUR to purchase mattresses, waterproof covers, bedding, pillows, and duvets.

The Director of Foundation Second, Belma Mujezinović, emphasized how important it is for babies to have, in addition to professional care, a safe and warm space for their first days of life:

“We are delighted that the babies will soon be sleeping in their new cribs, but we call on all kind-hearted people to help us complete this story and provide them with everything they need for a safe and peaceful sleep.”
