After months of struggle, kind words of support, and concrete help from good people, we have wonderful news — the kitchen for our brave single mother, a survivor of domestic violence, is finished!
The dedicated hands of carpenter Senad Lončar, who selflessly spends his free time making furniture for this family, have once again shown that compassion and humanity are priceless. The kitchen is ready, and in the coming days, we will arrange transport and installation so this modest family can finally have a functional and dignified space for everyday life.
This kitchen, made possible thanks to the donations of Senad Lončar and the friends of Foundation Second, is not just a space for preparing meals — it is a symbol of hope and a reminder that they are not alone.
The mother, who continues her fight for the safety and dignity of her child and ailing mother, sent us an emotional message:
"I can't describe how much this support means to me. Every message, every kind word, every bit of help gives me strength to carry on. Thank you all for being here for us."
So far, Foundation Second has provided beds, mattresses, bedding, a dresser, and multiple rounds of financial assistance — but the fight for a safe home continues. Our next goal is to raise funds for a corner sofa and two wardrobes, to finally complete this little corner of safety.
Belma Mujezinović, Director of Foundation Second, emphasized:
"This is a story of kindness and humanity. A fight to ensure that every child falls asleep in a warm bed, and a mother enters a kitchen where she can lovingly prepare a meal for her family. Thank you to everyone who contributed, and I invite you to help us finish this chapter of hope together."
