Although Ramadan has already ended, we continue to share beautiful moments we didn’t manage to publish earlier. Among them is the iftar at the Home for children without parental care Sarajevo, which, like every year, took place in a warm and family-like atmosphere, filled with closeness, smiles, and a sense of belonging.
At this special gathering, one of the invited guests was once again the director of the Second Foundation, Belma Mujezinović, who said this event is one of her favorites of the year.
“This is my favorite iftar every year because I have the opportunity to spend time with all the children in this alternative care institution. On this occasion, children from four small family homes in Sarajevo also join, which makes the iftar even more beautiful,” said Mujezinović.
The rich and delicious dinner was prepared by the Home’s chef, Nedžad Mešić, who once again delighted all attendees with his culinary skills and carefully prepared meals.
Shared moments, warm conversations, and the children’s joy made the evening truly special and unforgettable. These iftars are not just dinners—they are symbols of care, attention, and support, sending a powerful message to the children that they are not forgotten and that they have a community that sees them, hears them, and loves them.
Foundation Second is proud of its long-standing cooperation with the Home and the opportunity to be part of such meaningful and heartfelt moments that remain etched in the hearts of all present.
