In the warm and festive atmosphere of Mabelli Restaurant, 14 children without parental care from the Small family home in Sokolović Kolonija, which operates as part of the Home for children without parental care Sarajevo, spent a special Ramadan evening enjoying iftar. The children were accompanied by their caregivers and the director of Foundation Second, Belma Mujezinović, who also shared in the joy of this gathering.
Thanks to the generous discount from Mabelli Restaurant and donors from Sweden, whose donation was delivered by Hana Ademaj, the iftar was organized for all the children. They had the opportunity to taste various specialties of this renowned café-restaurant, enjoying moments of togetherness and the warmth of Ramadan.
After iftar, Director Belma Mujezinović visited the Central Mosque in Ilidža with a young girl who had a strong desire to pray there. Together, they performed the Maghrib, Isha, and Taraweeh prayers, adding a deeper spiritual meaning to the evening.
This iftar was not just a meal but a symbol of care, support, and a sense of belonging for children growing up in institutional care. Thanks to benefactors and people with open hearts, Ramadan brings them unforgettable moments and reminds them that they are not alone.
