For the fourth consecutive year, Restaurant Aeroplan in Sarajevo has warmly welcomed children from the Home for children without parental care Sarajevo, offering them a special iftar dinner in a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. This iftar has become a beautiful tradition, giving the children a chance to experience the spirit of Ramadan in a communal and supportive setting.

Most of the children observe fasting, making this iftar particularly meaningful—a moment when they break their fast together with a delicious and generous meal. Thanks to the restaurant’s proximity to Gazi Husrev-bey’s Mosque, after iftar, the children performed the Maghrib prayer, followed by Isha and Taraweeh prayer.

They attended prayer together with the director of the Home, Muhamed Musić, his wife and children, as well as the director of Fondacija Second, Belma Mujezinović. The presence of supportive adults meant a lot to the children, reinforcing their sense of belonging and security.

After Taraweeh, the girls from the Home had the opportunity to enjoy a sweet ending to their evening—the director of Foundation Second took them out for dessert, offering them another precious moment of joy before they returned home.

Foundation Second and the Home for Children without parental care Sarajevo extend their heartfelt gratitude to Restaurant Aeroplan for their hospitality and continuous support:

"We deeply appreciate the fact that Restaurant Aeroplan has been welcoming our children with love and care for four years now. Acts of kindness like this leave a lasting impact on their hearts and show them that they are not alone. We sincerely thank the entire restaurant team for their generosity and warmth." – said Belma Mujezinović, director of Foundation Second.

This iftar was more than just a meal—it was a moment of togetherness, love, and care, one that the children will surely cherish for a long time.
