Foundation Second, in collaboration with the Home for children without parental care Sarajevo, enabled around twenty children to visit the Diplomatic Winter Bazaar, one of the most important humanitarian events in Bosnia and Herzegovina. This event, which brings together the diplomatic community, offers a unique opportunity to raise funds for projects supporting children facing the challenges of growing up.

The children had the chance to explore the diverse embassy booths, enjoying culinary specialties and interactive activities. They were particularly delighted with the creative workshops, where they drew, colored, and participated in intriguing experiments organized by children from international schools in Sarajevo.

However, one moment stood out during the day. A ten-year-old boy, T., demonstrated incredible maturity and empathy when he decided to donate his 10 BAM pocket money to the Palestine booth instead of spending it on the tempting treats displayed at the colorful stands. His question, "Can I give this 10 BAM to Palestine instead?", highlighted the power of children's sincerity and solidarity.

At the Palestine booth, the children purchased symbolic items such as bracelets and T-shirts with the inscription Palestine (فلسطين), expressing their support for peers in need. Their kindness and pure hearts serve as an inspiration to all of us, reminding us of the importance of humanity and empathy.

Foundation Second is proud that the children from the Orphanage became part of an initiative that will help ensure a brighter future for their peers in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In total, the Foundation allocated 200 EUR for tickets and purchases at the booths, providing the children with an unforgettable experience.

Diplomatic Winter Bazaar, organized by the diplomatic corps in BiH, once again demonstrated the power of unity and solidarity in supporting those most in need. We extend our gratitude to all embassies, volunteers, and organizers for this exceptional event, which not only enriches our community but also inspires future generations.
