Although Eid is behind us, stories that carry joy, care, and love deserve to be shared even after the holidays. This year as well, with the support of its donors, Foundation Second organized the purchase of Eid clothing for children without parental care from Orphanage Bjelave, as well as small family homes in Sarajevo.

Thanks to a donation from Stichting Amanet in the amount of 2,000 KM, around fifteen children had the opportunity to choose the clothes in which they welcomed Eid – with smiles, excitement, and a sense of the special joy this holiday brings. In addition to choosing for themselves, they also selected clothes for their peers from the Home who were at school at the time, so that more than 20 children received new clothing.
Shopping together with the children was the Director of Foundation Second, Belma Mujezinović, with the support of the caregivers from the Home, who take care of the children every day. Their presence further contributed to a sense of safety and trust, making this activity a warm and thoughtfully guided experience for each child.

For the children, this was not just shopping – it was a special experience. The opportunity to choose their own clothes, try different combinations, and express their personal style was, for many, just as important as the clothing itself. It is precisely in these moments that the value of such activities lies – in the feeling of dignity, care, and belonging.
The smiles, joy, and excitement the children showed during and after the shopping are the best proof of how much these moments mean.

Foundation Second extends its gratitude to Stichting Amanet for their trust and continuous support, without which the realization of such activities would not be possible.

We continue forward with the same mission – through concrete activities and collective action, to create beautiful memories and provide support to children who need it most.
