Foundation Second continued its activities during the month of Ramadan, focusing on children without parental care across Bosnia and Herzegovina. A few days after Eid, we share another beautiful story that deserves attention.

It is about another communal iftar organized for children from the Home for Children without Parental Care in Tuzla, arranged so that another group of children—who could not attend the previous gathering—would also have the opportunity.
This time, the iftar was attended by 23 boys and girls, accompanied by five caregivers, who spent an evening filled with companionship, care, and warmth.
The iftar took place at the restaurant Kvin, recommended by the Home, where the children had the opportunity to enjoy a pleasant setting and a shared meal outside their everyday environment.

In this way, Foundation Second, thanks to the support of its donors, managed to include all children who were able to attend the iftars, offering them not only a shared meal but also a sense of being valued, seen, and cared for.
Organizing iftars outside Sarajevo holds special importance for Foundation Second, as it ensures that support reaches children who are often not in the focus of larger activities. By expanding its work to other cities, the Foundation strives to ensure that children across Bosnia and Herzegovina feel the care, togetherness, and joy that such gatherings bring.
This year, for the first time, Foundation Second organized iftars for children from the Home for Children without Parental Care in Tuzla.

Thanks to the donations of kind-hearted people, a total of 883.50 BAM was allocated for organizing the iftars in Tuzla—an amount transformed into smiles, togetherness, and evenings the children will remember for a long time.
For many children, moments like these mean much more than just a meal. These are evenings that bring a change to their daily routine, an opportunity for joy, laughter, and creating memories that last long after Ramadan ends.
This story is yet another reminder that when people come together for good, no child is left behind. Thanks to the donors of Foundation Second, all the children who were able to attend the iftar had their chance for a special Ramadan evening—filled with care, warmth, and togetherness.
