Restaurant Nova Bentbaša once again opened its doors this Ramadan to children from the Public Institution Home for Children without Parental Care Sarajevo (Dom Bjelave), hosting an evening filled with care, warmth, and pleasant surprises.

The children enjoyed a shared iftar in the welcoming atmosphere of the restaurant, away from their everyday surroundings, while the hosts made sure this Ramadan evening would remain a beautiful memory for them.
A special moment of the evening came when the restaurant owner Said Čolpa personally handed each child a gift of 25 EUR, which brought great joy and excitement among the children and made the gathering even more special.
The iftar was also attended by the director of the Home for Children without Parental Care Sarajevo, Muhamed Musić, who personally thanked the host for the hospitality, kindness, and support shown to the children.
Ramadan iftars for children without parental care were organized on the initiative of the Second Foundation, which continues this Ramadan to connect friends, companies, and restaurants willing to offer children moments of joy and a sense of care.
The director of Foundation Second, Belma Mujezinović, emphasized that gatherings like this have special value for children.
“Children who grow up without parental care especially need moments in which they feel the attention and warmth of the community. We are grateful to Restaurant Nova Bentbaša and Mr. Čolpa, who once again opened their doors and delighted the children not only with an iftar, but also with gifts that brought sincere smiles to their faces. These are the kinds of evenings that create memories children carry with them for a long time,” said Mujezinović.
During this Ramadan, Foundation Second continues to organize iftars for children without parental care in several cities across Bosnia and Herzegovina, so that the days of fasting are filled with care, joy, and a sense of togetherness.
