Thanks to the initiative of Foundation Second and the generous response of Optika Salihbegović, a girl from the Cantonal public institution Home for children without parental care Sarajevo received everything she needed to improve her vision – a professional ophthalmological examination, a high-quality Polar frame, and prescription lenses with radiation protection.

The girl received not only appropriate medical assistance, but also the opportunity to choose the frame that suited her best. She selected a transparent white model – subtle yet modern, a choice that suits her perfectly.
This valuable donation not only ensured better eyesight, but also allowed her to be part of the decision-making process, which is especially important for children growing up without parental care.
"Thanks to Optika Salihbegović, the girl received a thorough eye exam and glasses that truly suit her – both functionally and aesthetically. We especially appreciate that she was given the chance to choose the frame herself, as moments like these help strengthen a child’s sense of confidence and belonging," said Belma Mujezinović, Director of Foundation Second.
Foundation Second extends its heartfelt thanks to Optika Salihbegović for this kind gesture and their willingness to support children for whom such gifts carry special meaning.
