Thanks to the generous donation from Standard Furniture Factory, the Home for children without parental care in Sarajevo has been enriched with 30 new, high-quality chairs, while the house in Ledići—intended for children's retreats and rehabilitation—was complemented with three comfortable lazy bags.

The chairs have already been placed in the Home’s communal areas where children gather, study, and participate in workshops, while the lazy bags quickly became a favorite spot for relaxation in the mountain house in Ledići, where Foundation Second organizes activities for children from vulnerable social groups.

“This donation came at just the right time. We replaced worn-out chairs that the children use daily—during meals, for schoolwork, workshops, and socializing around the large dining table. We are grateful to Standard Factory for recognizing our needs and offering sincere support,” said Muhamed Musić, Director of the Cantonal public institution Home for children without parental care Sarajevo.
This collaboration was made possible through Foundation Second, which has been working closely with the Home for four years, particularly in implementing activities in Ledići.

“When we contacted Standard Factory and shared the needs of the Home and the house in Ledići, they didn’t hesitate for a moment. Their response was quick, concrete, and full of understanding. This is yet another example of how local companies can be true partners in creating better conditions for children without parental care,” said Belma Mujezinović, Director of Foundation Second.
Thanks to this donation, the everyday life of children—both in the Home and in the peaceful mountain setting of Ledići—has become more comfortable, warmer, and more functional, proving that real support is measured not in words, but in action.
