The Director of Foundation Second, Belma Mujezinović, will visit the Association for persons with special needs of the Bosnian-Podrinje Canton on Tuesday. This association brings together 38 families, each with at least one member with developmental difficulties.
Accompanied by the association’s president, Emira Hodžić, Director Mujezinović will visit six families and deliver food packages, a donation from the Dutch humanitarian organization Stichting Amanet.
Foundation Second has had a cooperation agreement with this association for three years, and during this period they have supported its members in various ways — by equipping homes, providing food and hygiene packages, purchasing school supplies and backpacks, awarding student scholarships, and organizing camps for children.
“Our families are currently in the greatest need of food, as most of them live in very difficult conditions without regular income. Every bit of help means a lot to them,” emphasized Emira Hodžić, president of the Association for persons with special needs of the BPK.
Foundation Second invites everyone who wishes to help to join and provide food packages for the remaining 32 families.
