Foundation Second once again demonstrated how crucial rapid response is when families face situations of risk. At the request of the Family and child support service of the Cantonal public institution Home for children without parental care Sarajevo, the Foundation used donor funds to settle an outstanding electricity debt for a single mother of three children.

Without this assistance, the family would have been left in darkness and without the basic conditions for daily life. The swift action was key to protecting the children from additional trauma and ensuring they could live in dignified conditions in their home.
