In a world where time, resources, and attention are often in short supply for those who need them most, there are still people who continually prove that kindness and solidarity can make a real difference.

One of those people is Senad Lončar, a carpenter and long-time friend Foundation Second, who once again stepped up to help. For a single mother of three, a beneficiary of the Support service for families and children at the Home for children without parental care Sarajevo, he crafted a kitchen cabinet and storage shelves—items she was missing in her daily life. He completed everything free of charge – from fabrication to installation, investing his time, skills, and materials.
This family, struggling daily to maintain a dignified life under difficult economic circumstances, now has a more functional and warmer home.
This is not the first time Senad Lončar has extended a helping hand – over the years, his work and selfless gestures have supported many families in need.
"Senad is more than a collaborator – he is a true friend of the Foundation and of the families we support. His actions speak louder than words. In a world where we often turn away from one another, he chooses to show up – to bring solutions, relief, and a smile. People like him make our mission possible," said Belma Mujezinović, Director of Foundation Second.
Foundation Second continues to connect kind-hearted people with those who need support the most. And thanks to individuals like Senad Lončar, that help arrives just when it’s needed the most.
