Foundation Second organized a joint iftar for the first time for children from the Home for Children without Parental Care in Tuzla, providing them with an evening filled with attention, warmth, and a sense of togetherness during the month of Ramadan.

The iftar took place in the restaurant of Hotel Salis, recommended by the Home, and was attended by 23 children and six caregivers. According to the caregivers, the children were very pleased with the menu, and the entire evening was filled with joy and smiles.
The total cost of the iftar was 986 BAM, or 34 BAM per person. This Ramadan evening was fully funded by the Norwegian humanitarian organization Milost, whose support made it possible for the children from the Tuzla Home to experience the special joy of sharing an iftar outside their everyday environment.
The Director of Foundation Second, Belma Mujezinović, emphasized how important such moments are for children growing up without parental care:
"We are especially happy that this year we organized an iftar for children in Tuzla for the first time. Ramadan is a time when we want every child to feel the attention and warmth of the community. Thanks to the organization Milost, the children had the opportunity to spend a beautiful evening together, sharing an iftar, socializing, and feeling that they are not forgotten. These moments remain in memory and carry the message that there are always people who care about them."
During this Ramadan, Foundation Second continues to connect generous individuals and companies with institutions that care for children without parental care, offering them moments of joy, attention, and a sense of belonging through small but meaningful gestures.
