Today, in the spirit of Ramadan joy and togetherness, Sunnyland once again hosted children from the Reception Department of the Home for Children without Parental Care Sarajevo (Home Bjelave), in cooperation with Foundation Second.

Accompanied by their caregivers, the children began the day with excitement and joy – aware that a special outing awaited them. Before iftar, they enjoyed all the attractions Sunnyland has to offer. The playroom was filled with laughter, cheerful calls, and children’s energy, while the alpine coaster brought the greatest excitement. They rode down multiple times, encouraged one another, and bravely navigated the curves, as if for a moment nothing existed except that feeling of freedom and speed.
For children from the Reception Department, who are going through a sensitive period of adjustment and temporary placement, outings like this carry special meaning. These are not just hours of play – they are moments when the children feel seen, accepted, and joyful, beyond everyday worries and uncertainty.
After spending their energy playing and riding the track, the evening continued with iftar in the restaurant area of the complex. Specialties from Sunnyland’s kitchen were served, and a sense of sincere gratitude could be felt around the tables. The children enjoyed their meals, shared stories about their fastest rides, and were already planning the “next time” before the evening even came to an end.
“Ramadan reminds us of the value of sharing and caring for others. When companies like Sunnyland open their doors to children without parental care, they do not give only an iftar or entertainment – they give a sense of belonging and joy. Today, the children returned to the Home with much more than a beautiful day. They carried memories that build their confidence and strengthen their belief that they are not alone,” said Belma Mujezinović, Director of Foundation Second.
Foundation Second extends its sincere gratitude to the Sunnyland team for their warmth, organization, and continued support to the children from Home Bjelave.
Because Ramadan is most beautiful when it is shared – especially with those to whom the community’s care means the most.
