Tomorrow, a family of five will arrive at the Small Family Home in Ledići, where they will spend several winter days focused on togetherness, rest, and strengthening family bonds. This is a family that, due to long-term economic challenges, is at risk of separation and possible inclusion of the children in the alternative care system.

Foundation Second has been providing continuous support to this family for more than a year, including rent payments, food assistance, heating support, basic furniture, and other forms of aid aimed at preserving the family unit. The family is included in the programme of the Family and Children Support Service of the Home for Children without Parental Care Sarajevo, under whose framework the Small Family Home in Ledići also operates.

Through stays like this, the goal is to strengthen the family, reduce the pressures of everyday life, and create a space where children and parents can build a sense of safety and stability. The family will spend several days in Ledići, with all costs of the winter stay fully covered by Foundation Second.
