Following the publication of the appeal to build a Mini Cat Barn in Ledići, unfortunately, no financial response through donations has been recorded at this time.

Foundation Second has nevertheless initiated preparatory activities. Materials for adapting the space have been ordered, but due to unfavourable weather conditions and difficult access to the mountainous area, delivery is currently not possible, nor is the execution of works on site. Under these conditions, the engaged contractor is also unable to begin the works.

In the meantime, the Foundation has taken urgent animal protection measures. Two kittens that were in poor health have been placed in a safe and warm location, where they are receiving the necessary care and treatment. Adult local cats have been provided with a regular supply of food inside the structure planned for the future Mini Cat Barn, in order to ease their stay during the winter period within the existing possibilities.

Foundation Second continues to monitor weather conditions and logistical possibilities and will resume works on the Mini Cat Barn as soon as minimum technical and safety conditions are met.

In the meantime, we reiterate our appeal for support for the construction of the Mini Cat Barn in Ledići. The realization of this project continues to depend on the financial and logistical support of the community, partners, and donors.

Every form of support contributes to creating safer conditions for local cats and to preserving the important therapeutic and educational dimension of the programs implemented by Foundation Second in Ledići.

Foundation Second will, as always, continue to act responsibly, transparently, and in accordance with real conditions on the ground.
