Following a successful school year and the diploma ceremony held by the Bistri Izvor Association, ten of the program’s top-performing participants from the Home for Children without Parental Care Sarajevo and the Small Family Homes were rewarded with a special day trip in Sarajevo.

As recognition for their effort, regular attendance, dedication, and achievements throughout the school year, Foundation Second Director Belma Mujezinović took the children on a day trip to Kinderland in Ilidža, where they spent several hours playing, socializing, and having fun.
Kinderland, located within the Hotel Hills complex in Ilidža, is one of the largest indoor children's playgrounds in Bosnia and Herzegovina, designed as a place for play, friendship, and unforgettable childhood adventures.

For children who spent the entire year studying diligently, attending activities regularly, and achieving excellent results, this was a day filled with joy, laughter, and carefree moments they will remember for a long time.
After enjoying their time at the playground, the gathering continued with a shared lunch, giving the children an opportunity to talk, reflect on their favorite moments from the past year, and share their plans for the summer holidays.

"We wanted their hard work to be recognized and rewarded. Throughout the year, these children demonstrated exceptional discipline, responsibility, and a genuine desire to learn. The reward was not simply a visit to a playground or a meal. It was a message that effort matters and that someone sees and appreciates their work and achievements. Their smiles that day were the most beautiful confirmation that we made the right choice," said Belma Mujezinović, Director of Foundation Second.
Foundation Second would like to express its gratitude to Stichting Amanet from the Netherlands, which covered the cost of admission tickets and lunch for the children. Their support enabled the most successful participants of the program to receive a well-deserved reward and enjoy a day filled with happiness, friendship, and wonderful memories.

Moments like these remind us how important it is to recognize and reward children's efforts. Every diploma, every verse learned, every kilometer traveled, and every smile is part of a much bigger story—a story about children who, with the support of their community, prove every day how much they can achieve when given opportunity, encouragement, and trust.
We congratulate all of the award recipients and wish them continued success, new knowledge, and many happy memories in the years ahead.
