Children from the Public Institution Dom-porodica Zenica were guests this week at another communal iftar organized by Foundation Second, continuing Ramadan activities dedicated to children without parental care across different cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This time, the children had iftar at the Urban Grill restaurant, which was recommended by the home itself. In a pleasant atmosphere and with delicious restaurant specialties, 30 children and five caregivers spent a beautiful Ramadan evening filled with companionship, smiles, and a sense of togetherness.
Although the Home sent a letter of appreciation to Foundation Second for organizing this iftar, the Foundation emphasized that the gratitude primarily belongs to the donors who made such activities possible.
The entire iftar was funded by the humanitarian organization Stichting Amanet, in the total amount of 700 KM.
Belma Mujezinović, Director of Foundation Second, emphasized that gatherings like these are one of the most meaningful ways to brighten Ramadan days for children living in institutions.
"Every communal iftar with children without parental care is much more than a dinner for us. These are moments when children feel they are not forgotten, that there are people who think about them and want to make their Ramadan days more beautiful. We are especially grateful to the organization Stichting Amanet, which recognized the value of these gatherings and funded this iftar in Zenica for 30 children and five caregivers. Although Dom-porodica Zenica addressed their thanks to Foundation Second, we believe that this gratitude rightfully belongs to them," said Mujezinović.
Foundation Second continues to organize communal iftars for children without parental care in different cities across Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the aim of filling their Ramadan evenings with warmth, care, and beautiful memories.
