The arrival of children from the Small family home in Marijin Dvor, which operates within the Cantonal public institution “Home for children without parental care,” to Ledići — where they planned to spend a few days in nature — began with a heartwarming scene. At the doorstep of the house, they were greeted by local dogs and cats, who always recognize their arrival and eagerly await moments of shared companionship.

These loyal four-legged friends seem to know that the children will shower them with attention, play, and food.

As always, the little ones showed their big hearts – carefully feeding the animals, making sure they lacked nothing, and sharing with them their pure and sincere childhood love.

Along with food for the children, Foundation Second also provided sufficient supplies for the dogs and cats living around the home, since their well-being is equally important in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere in Ledići.
