The Small family home in Ledići hosted, for the first time, beneficiaries of the Educational centre of Sarajevo Canton, who recently successfully implemented a social programme aimed at preventing unacceptable behaviour among children and youth.

Through experiential workshops, outdoor activities, and group work, ten beneficiaries of the institution had the opportunity to develop social skills, strengthen self-confidence, and adopt healthy behaviour patterns. The peaceful mountain environment, fresh air, and natural surroundings contributed to the children’s relaxation, improved concentration, and encouraged healthy lifestyle habits.

An important segment of the programme was a workshop on the dangers of landmines, conducted in cooperation with EUFOR representatives, which helped raise greater awareness of safety and cautious behaviour in everyday life.

Belma Mujezinović, Director of Foundation Second, stated on this occasion:
"It is a great pleasure for us that the Small family home in Ledići, which the Foundation runs together with the Bjelave Home, can be a place of meeting, learning, and development for children and youth. We are proud to have been able to provide a safe and inspiring environment for the implementation of the Educational centre’s programme, which contributes to building positive values, strengthening social skills, and encouraging healthy lifestyle habits."

Foundation Second extends its gratitude to all friends, partners, and donors, without whose support the realisation of such programmes would not be possible. Their contributions over the past four years, through equipping and enabling the Small family home, have created the conditions for us to host and support such valuable initiatives today.
