The Director of Foundation Second, Belma Mujezinović, and the Director of the Cantonal public institution "Home for children without parental care" Sarajevo (Bjelave Home), Muhamed Musić, visited the furniture factory "Standard" to personally thank director Ilhana Dizdar for the valuable donation of tables and chairs for the house in the village of Ledići on Bjelašnica.

This house, built in 1922 and once used as a school, was allocated to the Bjelave Home for long-term use by the proBITRA Foundation. Foundation Second, with the support of numerous donors, enabled the insulation and improvement of the house’s infrastructure, thus creating a safe and pleasant environment for children.
During their visit to the "Standard" factory, the guests had the opportunity to tour the production facilities and get acquainted with the company’s operations and capacities. Director Dizdar emphasized the importance of corporate social responsibility, especially when it comes to supporting projects that contribute to the well-being of children.

The furniture donation from the "Standard" company made a significant contribution to furnishing the house in Ledići, which will serve as a center for rehabilitation, recreation, and rest for children without parental care. The interior design was created by architect Merima Delić from Studio "Dimenzija", and the space has been adapted to provide children with a sense of warmth and safety.

This visit symbolizes the continuation of successful cooperation between the non-governmental sector, public institutions, and private companies in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with the aim of creating better conditions for children from vulnerable social categories. Thanks to joint efforts, the house in Ledići is becoming a place where children can enjoy nature, participate in educational and recreational activities, and create beautiful memories.
