Foundation Second organized a two-day trip for members of the Association for persons with special needs of the Bosnian-Podrinje Canton, bringing days filled with joy, smiles, and unforgettable memories.

On the second day of the trip, the guests enjoyed a morning walk through Ledići, a peaceful village on the slopes of Bjelašnica where the Small Family Home is located — the place where they spent the night. The walk ended with a visit to the Zbišće Waterfall, one of the hidden gems of the area, where they stopped to take photos and enjoy the fresh mountain air.
Afterwards, the group continued to the village of Dejčići, where several men from the Association attended the Friday prayer (Jumu’ah) in the local mosque. The tranquility and serenity of the village enriched their experience, offering moments of peace and gratitude.
Their journey then led them to Sarajevo, where they were warmly welcomed at Ćevabdžinica Zmaj by hosts full of attention and warmth. Surrounded by the aroma of grilled specialties and traditional dishes, the guests enjoyed a special lunch and atmosphere carefully prepared by the restaurant owners.
Each participant received a small gift and souvenir to remind them of the days spent in the capital, while the newlyweds in the group, for whom this was a kind of honeymoon, were especially touched by the hosts’ gesture – they received a set of coffee cups and a photo frame to take home from Sarajevo.
After lunch, the Director of Foundation Second, Belma Mujezinović, surprised them with another symbolic gift – at the Sarajevo City Center, they visited a jewelry store where she bought the couple silver wedding rings, symbolizing unity, love, and a new beginning.
The day concluded with a walk through Baščaršija, taking photos in front of Sebilj and Vijećnica, followed by a stop at the Yellow Bastion (Žuta tabija) to enjoy the panoramic view and capture the final moments of this unforgettable journey.
On the way back to Goražde, with smiles and gratitude, they asked the Association’s president, Emira Hodžić:
“When are we going back to Ledići?”
Their question best reflects how much this stay meant to them — not just as a trip, but as an experience of care, togetherness, and love that Foundation Second proudly continues to provide to those who need it most.
